Curriculum Vitae Robert Krämer
Robert Krämer is a biochemist with a distinguished record in leading complex drug development programs. After earning his Ph.D. from the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Munich, he held various R&D roles in small and mid‑sized biopharmaceutical companies before transitioning from laboratory unit head to global program management.
Driven by a passion for translating science into therapies with meaningful impact for patients, he has led cross‑functional development teams across multiple stages and therapeutic areas. Beginning with preclinical programs at UCB, he went on to spend more than a decade at Bayer as a global program head in clinical development, most recently serving as integrated program lead and vice president for a portfolio of drug development projects in acute care.
A key achievement and major source of inspiration was leading a heart failure drug development program from Phase 2 through to global regulatory approval, delivering an improved treatment option for patients and reinforcing his commitment to advancing impactful therapies for those in need.
