Curriculum Vitae Patricia Heyn
Patricia Heyn brings extensive expertise in cell and developmental biology and genetics. She earned her Dr. rer. nat. from TU Dresden at the MPI of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, followed by postdoctoral research at the MRC Human Genetics Unit in Edinburgh, UK, where she worked in the field of rare disease. She later joined a small biotech company developing gene therapies, leading in vitro research activities. In January 2026, Patricia joined DEBRA Research as Director Research.
